Sorry to hear of the loss of Bill. I served with him when he was a member of Whitman Square Fire Company. He was well-liked by all and was an asset to the organization. He is well remembered by those that served with him.

Pat Temean left a message on November 4, 2019:
Bill, when we met 23 years ago we became instant best friends. We cried together, we laughed together & we were always just a phone call away. The last time we spoke you said you were in & out of the hospital but never mentioned why. You said you wanted to visit but I guess that will never happen. Thank you for picking me up at the airport last year & not allowing me to take a cab. I miss our monthly dinners we used to have to catch up on all your Match making fiascos. We would laugh until we cried at some of the people you met. Remember the witch? You always asked me if I approved. Some I didnt. I'm so glad you were finally happy with Joan. I wish we could have met. You said she was the one so I approve. Until we meet again keep all the women Angel's on their toes. I love you, Pat T-man
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

Quite a shock to me! I both worked for Bill when I was at WHYY in the late 60‘s, and dirimg all the many years I was at PPTN (form where I retired as Chief Engineer and COO in 2009. Truly a good man, friend and Business associate!
Gisele Larose Corbi left a message on November 3, 2019:
I am so saddened to hear of Bills passing. He has been on my mind a lot lately. My condolences to his family. I had the luxury to work with him as part of his evtended WHYY family. He brilliantly led 3 very disparate groups to work together as the ETC, the Educational Technology consortium. He pioneered the transition from broadcasted distance learning to online learning. His vision and passion for Civic engagement was the glue that held us together. He now has a front row seat to watch how the seeds he planted for WebStudy continue to serve the public. He was truly the most humble man I've ever met.
Joseph McCann left a message on November 3, 2019:
Bill, Thank you for always being the best step-father a person could have. I will always treasure our great camping vacations, our fun times at the movies, and our Father's Day breakfasts. Your sense of humor, kindness and generosity has touched my life forever and you will be greatly missed. Love, your step-son Joe McCann
Cheryl Cunningham left a message on November 2, 2019:
I’m so sorry for this loss and shocked because it happened so quickly. My best memory of Dad was the time he let me and Dee go to work with him and answer phones for a WHYY pledge drive. What an exciting day for us, as teens, being on TV! haha Praying for all the family. ❤️
