“I love you all.”
Virginia’s last words before passing did not need to be said. To know her was to feel loved. She was a woman of great empathy and compassion for all God’s creations, great and small. She showed this most effectively through her actions – great ones, like shepherding family members through serious illnesses, but also smaller ones, like rescuing several stray animals over the course of her life. Virginia never shied away from duty and was a devoted daughter, wife, and mother above all else. When her husband fell ill and was unable to work, Virginia took on the responsibility of being the main provider for her family, raising two children while working many years for the US Department of Defense in Philadelphia. In retirement, she was blessed with two grandchildren whom she loved deeply. She endeavored to bring light to every life she touched. While we carry her light in our hearts, she will be missed.
Family and friends are welcome to attend her viewing Monday, February 17th 9:30 – 11:00 AM at The Church of The Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:15 AM. Interment Hillcrest Memorial Park, Washington Twp.
