Dear Barb, Tracy, Dana and TJ On April 9,2014 I lost a great friend. Tom was one of the first guys that said "Welcome to Ferko". I am truly going to miss someone whom I had the utmost respect for. Tom was like a big brother to me. I know Jimmy, Bunky and even Mr. Ferko himself are laughing right now. RIP Tom and smile that smile that made everyone feel welcome. Marty Baldwin Sr.

Barbara, Tracy, Dana and TJ, I am so sorry for your loss and offer my sincere sympathy and condolences. Tom was a great friend of mine who will be missed. We shared many laughs and good times together and it is because of Tom that I know each of you. Please also know how saddened I am that I must be away next week for work and will not be able to attend the services. You will all remain in my prayers and may Tom rest in peace. Love, Pat Sicilia

Dear Barbara, Tracy, Dana, and TJ, I would like to offer my sincere sympathy, loving thoughts, and prayers during this most difficult time. I was very sad when I heard the news of Tom passing. I have so many fond memories of happy times spent together through the years. I will always remember Tom teaching me to be a gentleman at all times and espousing the disciplined principals of the Ferko String Band. I am so glad I got to visit him over the last couple of weeks. Now his suffering is over and he is sharing in his eternal reward in heaven with God Our Father. Tom, may you rest in peace until we meet again at the "Big Parade" in Heaven:) God Bless You All. Love, Danny Spencer

The loss of Tom Ferry has hit many of us in the Mummer's community very hard. Tommy was great leader and friend to so many. He led with class and and was always fair and honest. He taught me many things about running a committee all while being fair to EVERYONE and EVERY band. I have so many fond memories of Tom and the many hats he wore. Whether it was at a judging committee meeting or as an umpire at the PMSBA softball game. Tommy will be missed but never forgotten. My deepest condolences to the Ferry Family.

Barbara Tracy,Dania & TJ I was saddened at the least to hear of Tom's passing. I know these last few years have not been easy. When I joined the Ferko Band,I was struck by Tom's leadership and disipline . He always held the Bands reputation and appearance foremost. He will be missed but cannot be replaced. God Bless You in this trying time. Howard & Jo Ogden

Tom and I go back to the early '60's...So I have over 50 years of great times and memories of him...he was one of my favorite banjo players of all time...and I am very sure because of Tom's background that we all know that this is truly a celebration of his great life..and he is with his God now....we both were always "bullish" about the Ferko String Band and that bond that binds so many of us from bell bottoms to 12 yards of velvet capes to back pieces adorned with plumes and of days gone by...Tom was one of those rare individuals who always went above and beyond...and even thou he was a staunch Yankee fan we still had that special deep Ferko affection for each other...as my Red Sox have done OK lately...To say that he will be missed is selling him short...he will never be forgotten...and I will dig out some old Ferko songs and listen to the snap of his banjo...and the fun and joy he brought to so many...So to Tom, my friend I will now give you my very special Ferko Blessing...the same one we gave to so many who attended our concerts during the '60's...'70's...and '80's....and I would look over to see the huge smile as we finished the last few notes of "The Ferko Band of Philadelphia"...so long my good and faithful friend...and may the good and gracious Lord hold you in the palms of his hands ! ....Dick Vaughan
