Dear Mary Kay and Carmen, Stephanie was such a joyful and kind person. I remember the way that her eyes lit up in my Sunday School classes. She was such a joy and quick to be kind to all her classmates as a little girl. When I came back from college and visited the church, she would run up to me and give me a big hug. I was sadden when I heard of her passing, but know that she is looking down from heaven watching over all those whom she loves. May the Lord look over your family during this difficult time. Stephanie, It's been a few days since I got the news...and I still can't quite understand why this had to happen to you. Steph, I did not get my proper goodbye so I am going to do the best I can here to find my closure. In 4th grade we became the best of friends and everyone knew since then we were inseparable. We were like sisters. I will never forget all the adventures we went on, all of our sleepovers, the billions of times we watched Bride Wars because we thought we were Liv & Emma, all the birthdays we shared, the secrets we kept, and all of the endless pictures we would take. I will never forget all the embarrassing moments, the sad moments, the happiest of times, the tears & the laughter because we shared it all. Even though we grew apart I never forgot about you or how much I love you. It was a pleasure to have grown up by your side. I am so broken to know that you are gone, but I know one day we will meet again & I hope the two little girls who met in the 4th grade will get a second chance at being forever sisters.
