Mrs. Leo spirit was so kind, beautiful, and caring . She treated me like one of her children. Whenever I would see her, we greeted each other with a kiss on the lips and a big hug ! She always asked how I was and how my family was doing. She epitomized the meaning of a good and faithful servant. Now, she is rejoicing in heaven with Mr. Leo! Joanna, Renee, Eddie, and family, my heart breaks with all of you. My bestie Joanna, I wish I could be there to hug you right now. Know that I am with you in spirit and praying for you constantly. Be comforted in knowing you will see your her again in heaven . May God comfort all of you and give you all a peace which passes all understanding.

The Thies family is so saddened by the loss of our sweet neighbor. We will be joining you online due to some added anxiety about CoVid lately. Personally, I cherish the memories I have including riding her bus to school, swimming at the pool, and most recently helping her with her lightbulbs and other little things she needed. This summer, I often would see her on her back patio reading her Bible while I was tending to the watermelons growing behind her house. She was always so pleasant and kind! I will miss her. One day we will meet again, and I hope her mansion is near mine! ??

Gommy as I knew her was such a kind sweet woman. She was at all her grandkids events where I was always greeted with warm shy smile and big hug. I am so saddened by the news of her passing but I know she is in the arms of her Savior Jesus. Joanna and I raised our girls from preschool all the at through to high school.... Joanna and Sophia most definitely have that same warmth and love that Gommy had and that same spirit I know will live on in both of them. My sincere condolences to the whole Leo family! I will continue to pray for the Holy Spirit to comfort and hold you as your grieve your beautiful mother and Gommy.

Still can't believe we have lost such a warm and beautiful soul. I will NEVER forget the love she showed me as a kid just moving to NJ and how she opened up her home and made you feel like part of the family. Spent so many days and nights there and will always be some of my best memories growing up. She will be greatly missed by all that knew her and I am so glad I was one of them. Love you all!

Leslie Pender left a message on December 16, 2020:
Ruthanne was the quintessential Christian wife and mother. She was selfless, patient, generous and kind. She fed everyone and never complained. It was her Christian duty, which she wholeheartedly embraced, making all feel welcome in her home, with her delicious food and accepting, understanding, loving personality. She taught by quiet example, was never boastful or mean. Ruthanne was a peacemaker. Blessed are the peacemakers for they will be called children of God. Matthew 5:9 I will never forget or cease to be grateful for the lessons in motherhood, that I learned from her. She was called home to be with her Heavenly Father, and she is now reunited with her husband Ed and devoted , wonderful parents Nettie and Joe. My heart goes out to you, Ed, Renee and Joanna and your families. Your mother ran a race of which you should be proud. She was a faithful servant of God. Ruthanne was as close to an angel, as a human being could be in this earthly life. She will be sorely missed. I heard the song, Well done, well done my good and faithful one, and I could only imagine God welcoming her into his loving, divine embrace. Love Leslie

To children of Ruthanne and their families: We were glad to have Ruthanne as our cousin living across the street. Will always remember that she always had a smile. She loved her Saviour and her family very much. Hardly ever heard her to complain about the way she felt physically, she was a kind hearted sweet woman. Keep those good memories with you always. Pray God's comfort and peace to all of you in the days ahead. She is at rest in her heavenly home, free from pain seeing husband and parents and loved ones. Our love to you all. We will be joining you as we watch the service on live stream, thank you to the church for making it available to those unable to come.
