Monika, you and your family have lost one that can never be replaced. I lost a dear friend, but the World has lost a brilliant inventive mind. Bob's quality work surely protected our military forces when united with our Naval ships. This is a treasure which should never go unnoticed. My deepest sympathy is extended to you. I would have liked to pay my respects in person, but my teaching schedule directly conflicted with the viewing time. You may be assured that Bob will forever be remembered by me as a fine and honorable person..
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

John Odenath left a message on February 22, 2019:
I had the pleasure of knowing Bob through Harry and Monika. Bob was always pleasant and personable. Bob's way of sharing useful knowledge through narrative anecdotes which often brought about aching laughter were a brand all of his own. Sorry we did not catch "the big one" on our surf fishing trip to Strathmere during the fall of 2016. The stories shared over lunch at the Deauville following a crisp pleasant Autumn day on the beach were certainly memorable. Thank you being a bright spot in our lives and an understated role model to those around you. We will mourn the loss then celebrate life while smiling in recollection.

Walking through Pennypack Park as a child with my Dad. I was probably four or five years old. It was a bright sunny day and a slight breeze was in the air. When we came home he poured me my first glass of Welches grape juice. Seems like yesterday. I idolized him. Still do. Love you Dad
