On November 16, 2018 of Washington Twp. Age 59. Beloved husband of Agnes D. (nee Tran). Loving son of Madeline (nee Crea) and the late Joseph J. Marchesani. Dear brother of Madeline Pera (Albert), Mary Ann Lindsay, and Jo Ann O’Brien (Dave). Loving nieces and nephews.
Michael enjoyed outings with his wife Agnes, they both enjoyed summer visits to Cape May, NJ, where Michael would eventually become a collector of the local Art/Oil Paintings. Yes, Michael loved to collect objects…ask his wife Agnes how many pieces of Royal Albert China “Old English Rose” he had collected. He just loved adding to his collection. He also collected trains, knives or whatever peaked his interest at the time…coins and stamps had his interest in his youth. Michael was an avid movie buff and a music buff too. He had many diverse interest. Our Michael was quiet and thoughtful, strong and loving. In the last 3 years of his life he fought the battle of his life given a terminal cancer diagnosis; but, with grace and acceptance he showed us how to face the setbacks and disappointments. Our loved one had a great sense of humor. We all loved him for his upbeat personality. What a smile!!!! He loved us all and we all loved him dearly.
Relatives And friends are invited to attend his viewing Sunday 5:00-8:30 pm at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. and Monday 10:00-11:00 am at SS Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:15 am. Interment, New St. Mary’s Cemetery, Bellmawr.
