Maryann was a beautiful person inside and out. She was very accepting and inclusive of everyone. We met at the Virtua swim classes and it was always a pleasure to see her smiling face and be around her infectious personality. She loved her family above all. We always knew of her next travel to visit her daughter and grandchildren and she shared her stories when she got.back...so full of love and pride. She was a bright spot in our swim group. She was a strong person and very giving....her loss will be felt by many. ...with deepest sympathy to her family.

Maryann was a dear friend and my partner for the SVdP ministry at St. Charles Church. She was always uplifting, positive, spiritual, and prayerful. She brightened my days with her smile and most pleasant manner. Even on the days she clearly wasn’t feeling well she never failed to inquire about how I was or how my family was doing. Even though I was only six years younger than she I often told her I hoped to one day grow up to be like her. I truly believed she radiated in her words and deeds all that God meant for us each to be. She always spoke lovingly about her family (in the states and England). I miss her dearly. She continues to be in my prayers. I will forever remember her fondly.

My deepest condolences to Kelly, and to the Rakowski family, Maryann was my friend from childhood. Though there were periods of time during which we were not in direct touch, we both knew that we were each just a phone call away. In recent years, she showed great kindness to my mother - taking her to the movies, sharing a meal in the diner, driving her to doctors' appointments. That kindness was much appreciated, as I live in NC, far from my mom. I will always remember her gentle spirit and her beautiful smile. Thankful for her friendship. May God bless your family.

Maryann & I were best friends in highschool. She was so sweet, unselfish & loved life. We kept in touch through the years. When we spoke on the phone it was like we had just talked the previous day. I loved her & her infections laugh. Rest in peace, my dear friend. I know that my parents & sisters welcomed you with open arms ????

So sorry to hear the passing of Maryann. I meet Maryann at Viritua Gym.. She was so easy to like. A group of us would go to lunch together about once a month. She became a friend. We both shared our love and involvement in our parishes Saint Vincent DePaul Society. Maryann will be greatly missed.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I was the nurse at Atco and Waterford where I met Maryann. She was a wonderful friend and shared her joy of swimming and traveling to see eileen and Pearl buck House. She gave it her best during her battle with cancer.

I was Maryann's Principal but consider her as a colleague and a friend. She was kind and met everyone with a big smile. She was the consummate kindergarten teacher. Mary Ann leaves behind a multitude of thankful children who were capably started on their educational journey. The pride and joy of her life was her daughter Kelly.

Maryann was a wonderful kindergarten teacher and grade partner at Waterford. Over the years we became the best of friends. We retired together and pursued such things as yoga and water aerobics. But our favorite pastime was meeting for lunch and sharing our life stories and those of our children and grandchildren. Maryann was the kindest, sweetest, purest and bravest person I know. I will miss her dearly.

Thinking of you and wishing you moments of peace and comfort as you remember someone who was so close to you. Maryann was one of the first teachers I met when I began my tenure at Waterford. During all of those years, I cannot remember Maryann without a smile or a kind word. Maryann was sweet to everyone...students (whom she cherished) and adults alike.

I am very glad I got to meet her when she came out to California to see her daughter and grandkids. Amazing woman and teacher.
