Heavenly Father we know and believe that our times are in Your hands, but Lord it’s so often such a shock to us when a dear loved one meets with a sudden or unexpected death - through an illness or disease, which takes the life of someone who is very much loved - long before it would be expected. Lord I bring before You today the Prendergast family who are having to go through such a tragic loss and pray that You would be very close to each one that is in mourning over such a loss of just a wonder Mother, Wife, Daughter, Friend, and just an AMAZING Loving Woman, Karen Prendergast! Oh Holy Spirit speak to the very most inners and hearts of this family and friends that are grieving tis loss and perhaps confused or even angry that such a devastating illness has overtaken this very, very special woman, Karen. You are the God of all comfort Who comforts us in time of need and I pray that for those that are facing such a difficult trial today. Uphold this family I pray, and I ask that You draw very close to them … raise up I pray, that the right people may minister to them and to be a genuine comfort and support at this time of tragedy and grief. Lord we don’t understand why our loved ones should suddenly be removed from us through a sudden, unexpected death – but Lord WE TRUST YOU to soothe away the hurt in time - for shall not the God of all the earth do right…. In Jesus name I pray, Amen.

I like Anthony Seward remember the circle gang. Rob was my first friend I made when I moved from Oaklyn to Blackwood. The thing I remember most about Karen was compassion for others, she tried not to let it show to much but I could see it. My thoughts and Prayers are with all family and friends.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I am the oncology social worker at the cancer center where Karen was treated. I would like to extend my deepest condolences to the entire Prendergast family. Karen was a really special lady; it was both a pleasure and an honor to have worked with her. She will be truly missed by all of us at the cancer center. God bless. Abigale Hassel

Our hearts go out to the Prendergast family during this most difficult time. May the road rise to meet you, May the wind be always at your back, May the sun shine warm upon your face, the rains fall softly upon your fields, And until we meet again May God hold you in the palm of his hand. Our love, Bruce & Monica McClintock
