I met Jo in 1981 when I went to my first Home Interiors meeting with my sister and subsequently became a displayer. Jo was so genuine. She was known as the flower lady because she was so creative with flowers. She taught us how to arrange flowers, how to run our business, make it look easy and how to put our families first. She was very proud when I was promoted as her first unit manager and we traveled together to Denver. She was a very dear friend and mentor. I cherish our times together, our phone conversations and letters. Only 2 weeks ago, as uncomfortable as she was, she never complained. She loved her family and I know they loved her. She will always hold a special place in my heart.

Bill, Jan and your family: I am very sorry to hear of your mother's passing. From my years of our relationship it was very apparent of your love for your mother and your concerns for her health. She was fortunate to have such a caring son and I know you and your family will miss her. Sincerely, Joe Rullo

I will never forget having Jo as my manager during a brief stint with Home Interiors in the ‘80s. She encouraged me, brought out my creative ability and built up my confidence . That led me to go back to college and get a teaching degree. She was a great lady and will be sadly missed. Prayers for her family, my heart is aching for all of you.
