You have my deepest sympathy with the passing of Joe. I so adored him. He was such an interesting and funny man. While at Communicare, I always looked forward to our many talks of just about everything. I put his medication in a medicine cup and mixed the liquid with apple juice when he started refusing it. Together we would take a shot of the mixture and salute the Army, the Flag, WWII Veterans, anything military and patriotic. Then I would thank him for his service. He was very proud of his service as well as his family. He was a remarkable man. He will be missed. May he rest in peace.
