Joe, my fondest memories as a child were when I visited with my parents at your mom and dad's You were always there, so kind and always smiling. You always sat on the rocking chair and rocked. I am so sad for your passing, you have such a wonderful and beautiful family. Now you will rest with your son and in peace and God's grace. You are loved by so many and loved very much. Until we all meet again....Darlene

Big Daddy Joe. I am going to miss you. Our conversations were the best with laughter. You took me under your wing many years ago and taught me a lot in the construction area. Loved working with you and we always had to have lunch together. You are loved and respected by many. I will never forget you, always in my heart. Love you Joe.

I will miss you calling me a SMACKED ASS when I would do something foolish. I now do not have an expert to call when I need help when I have a problem that could use your expertise. I will miss my brother who I call my best friend.
Angelo A and Madeline (Lynn) Saggiomo left a message on November 11, 2020:
Lynn and are are very sorry to hear of the loss of cousin Joe. Our Condolences to all the family. My memories of Joe is when he was living on 8th St and my parents, Aunt Millie, Uncle Anthony and us kids would visit. Joe, Cosimo and me and Mary Ann would play on the street. Half ball, chink against the steps and just having fun outside while our parents had coffee in the house. As the years went by, with work, marriages, and children. We lost touch but I will never forget Joe. We our upstate PA and with the pandemic and all, we are very sorry we can not attend the services. Love to all and very sorry. We will miss Joe.

My cousin Joe was not only a close relative but a good friend, always willing to lend a helpful hand. Joe was not only a great family man but also a perfectionist and very respected in the building trades. When building my house back in 1997, Joe volunteered his advice which turned out to be invaluable. The many construction suppliers he recommended were eager to assist because they knew Joe and had the utmost respect for him. My deepest sympathy goes out to his family. I will miss the many conversations we had, may he rest in peace.
Andy Saggiomo Jr. left a message on November 11, 2020:
I was heartbroken to hear about the passing of Uncle Joe. It seemed like yesterday, but it was 55 years ago, I was shooting pool downstairs with him at Grandmom’s house on Broad Street. I remember him taking the time to take me to my grade school basketball award ceremony since my father had a meeting that night. His wood crafting skills were awesome. I will truly miss him. May he Rest In Peace. Sincerely, Andy, Jr.
