We have been Mr. Boyle 's neighbor for the past nineteen years. From the first day we moved in, Mr. Boyle greeted us with a smile and a short conversation about how our day was going. He took an interest in us and our children, taking the time to get to know our likes and interests. My son will always cherish the times showing Mr. Boyle all his newest basketball moves. Barb and Kids What an amazing husband and dad you had. I truly loved him! We had so many great times and I have so many fond memories over the years. He was truly a Great American Hero, You both sacrificed so much for this country and Joe always spoke so lovingly of all of you. Barb - he couldn't say enough about what a wonderful wife you are as well as the most amazing mother and he was so proud of the family you two have built and of each of his children. He will always be loved and remembered in the hearts of those at Navy Lakehurst and throughout the US Navy, not to mention the Downtowners Mummers and the Battle Ship New Jersey family that he dedicated so much of his life to. Truly a wonderful person and I am a better person for his being in my life. Love and sympathies to all of you,

Barb, Patty, and family. I am so saddened to hear of Joe’s passing. What a wonderful man! I am lucky to call him my friend and to have had the privilege to have worked with him and enjoy our retirement lunches with the gang. So many memories. No doubt heaven is a better place now. Sending love and hugs and my heartfelt condolences.

To say that I will miss you is by far a sad statement. At a time when your friendship and support is much needed, I find myself with a broken heart. Only you and I know what we meant to each other. The many times and memories we shared were not sea stories but actual facts from us who had so much in common. We spoke often of the Navy and the Air Force and Malvern ( Prosit ). New Years mornings will be different as we remembered many of our lost friends. You will be remembered forever in my heart. My love goes out to not only you,, Chief, but also to Barb and your entire family. Love, Bob & Jeanette
