I just learned of Janine's passing recently. We went to the same high school but I didn't know her very well. I am very sorry for your loss.

I am so sorry. I don’t even know what to say. I just found out today and I am heartbroken ?. Janine was so vibrant and full of fun, love and life. She was meant to be a teacher. I am so lucky and grateful that my son Tyler had her. She brought to life his love for learning!!! She always said he gave the best hugs. I am sure she told a lot of parents that. I always looked forward to this time of year because I knew I would be getting a call shortly about our annual Tacobell teacher’s luncheon and that meant I got to see her for 30 min while I set up & brought everything in. I am saddened to learn of this tragic loss. Such a bright star wherever she went. I feel fortunate to have so recently reconnected and gotten to again realize the strength and light she graced us with. Fortunate to work with Janine at Maury, she helped me raise my bar as an educator. Her passion, wit, and frank approach helped us connect from the start. Her battle and struggle to overcome this illness touched all and she is a warrior for the ages. My heart is heavy this day but I will light a candle every morning for each year she inspired others with her light. Saying prayers for your family during this most difficult of times.

To the Hee and Rullo families, I was so very saddened to hear of Janine's passing and have thought so often of her and of you throughout this holiday season. I had the pleasure of working with Janine at both Oak Valley when she first started and then Pine Acres in later years. I was the librarian for both schools and also the calligrapher of your wedding invitations. I ran into Janine pre pandemic out shopping one day. Her positivity and upbeat attitude did not surprise me as I saw her vibrant personality exhibited at school many times before. Also I knew from FB that she was in a fierce battle. After our conversation, we hugged and I left the store in amazement and admiration for her. Janine was a lovely woman and always sweet and kind to children in her class as well as the school staff. She always asked for extra books about things in the curriculum that she was working on and I would make up a box for her. Her beautiful face and demeanor will stay with me and I will keep you all in my prayers as you and all of your family grieve a loss that you cannot detour around but must walk through. There are no words that can express the sadness our family has for the loss of such a beautiful soul. Two of our children, John and Lily, went to school with Brendan and Genevieve. You taught me so much that first year of teaching. I would always tease you about your accent and make you say coffee and I loved hearing about your best friend Nikki and how wonderful Brian was. I pray for strength for your loved ones and protection over your family. YOU WERE THE BEST!

Knowing Janine was a gift. I will celebrate her warm-hearted, empathetic, ambitious, enthusiastic life. She made such a meaningful connection with my family. My son had the privilege to have Mrs. Hee as his Kindergarten teacher and as a room parent. I'm so thankful God put her in my life. She certainly made an impact on me and as I read these condolences it looks like I'm not the only one. My husband and I held Janine's opinion in such high regard she determined my daughter's name. Yup, she named my daughter! I was in her classroom talking about how my husband and I were going back and forth on a few names and when I said the name Juliet, Janine's eyes went wide and her smile grew bigger and brighter she just loved how nicely it went with my son's name; Joey and Juliet! Oh Yes, that's it! she said. So sure enough I've got myself a Juliet as per Mrs. Hee's optimism. That was her personality she made things easier and after talking with her things seemed better. It is an understatement to say she will be missed. I just hope I learned enough from her to do as she did, make the world a better place.

To Brian. Brendan and Genevieve, my sincere condolences. Words cannot express the pain we all feel for Jenine. You have an angel watching you from heaven. The Hee/Rullo Family: I am so sorry for your loss. Words cannot explain the sorrow I feel for you all. We knew each other a few short years from SMRS. When I met her she was always smiling always willing to help me with anything I needed for the book fair and the PTA. Janine was a special beautiful human inside and out. And was absolutely inspiring to me how she looked at cancer and her outlook. She would often say to me girl I got this I feel great. I just wanted to share some small memories I had of your wife, mom and daughter. She touched me that’s for sure. And she will be missed. Prayers for all of you. Remember the beautiful memories and smile like she always did.

Brian and Family, as much pain that you are going through, that is how much love and joy Janine brought to the people around her. The lord used her to keep people grounded and to learn how to face life's challenges. She was a beautiful role model for all. Her hearty laugh was infectious. It was a pleasure getting to know her. Janine, please continue to be that positive light in our hearts.

Janine will be missed. It was an honor to get to know her through Nikki. I always enjoyed catching up with Janine at play dates and birthday parties. We talked about our kids, our families and teaching. She always had encouraging and loving advice! Praying that her family and best friends continue to feel the love and guidance she sends from heaven.

Janine and I grew up as neighbors, our backyards shared a fence and over it we’d climb whenever we wanted to be together. She was 3 years older than me, and our age difference was a big part of our friendship—I certainly looked up to her, and she naturally was a bit like a teacher to me in the way that an older girl takes a younger girl under her wing. She was confident, stylish, beautiful and kind. She had a big impact on my childhood through her friendship and in the way that she helped me grow confidence and self esteem in a healthy and wonderful way. Its easy to see, looking back, how clearly being a teacher was her calling. I will carry with me innumerable wonderful and happy memories of her for the rest of my life. To Brian, Brendan, Genevieve, and Mr. and Mrs. Rullo—please know that your precious beautiful Janine touched me deeply and helped me become a confident and happy person. I am so very sorry for your loss, and I pray for strength and peace to find you during this awful time. I also pray for the confidence, beauty, style, and kindness that Janine exuded in her life to surround all of you forever and bring you comfort and happiness.

Brian, Brendan, and Genevieve, I am so very sorry for the loss of your beautiful wife and mother. Although we did not work at the same school, I had the pleasure of working with Janine through teaching at Deptford. We would run into each other at various trainings and district events. We both were pregnant at the same time with our 2nd children and had Genevieve and my daughter, Emma a few weeks apart and would frequently share our experiences and stories with each other. Janine was one of the most caring, happiest people I have ever met. Anytime I would run into her, she’d be smiling from ear to ear speaking about the three of you. She loved you all so much and was so proud of all of you. I hope you find comfort in your memories and knowing how happy you made her. You will all be in my thoughts and prayers during this extremely difficult time.

So heartbroken to have to say goodbye too soon to one of the classiest girls to ever grace the hallways of PVI. From our years cheering together, decorating the locker room, dances/proms, senior talent show, dating, homecoming, etc.... the memories with Janine Rullo Hee will always bring happy thoughts. She was not only beautiful on the outside with her contagious mega-watt smile, gorgeous hair, nails & tan, always the most stunning prom dresses, etc., but even more importantly, she was beyond beautiful on the inside, her strength, grace, positivity, and courage were & always will be an inspiration, another constant reminder to live life to the fullest each & every day. Her love story w/Brian is truly what dreams are made of, high school sweethearts, the class of ‘96 cutest couple, who built a beautiful family & life together. I first met Janine in 2014 when she taught my daughter Isabella in kindergarten. I instantly felt safe with her. I knew my baby girl was in good hands. Isabella needed her tonsils out. Her surgery was to be at 9am and by 3pm Janine still hadn't heard from me since her surgery was pushed back by hours. Janine went above and beyond to check on her and me and my husband. When I thanked her she responded with, "she is my baby too." The truth is she was. When I wasn't their she kissed her booboos and made her feel better. I am beyond grateful for that. I was devastated when Bella had to move on. Again though we were blessed with Ms. Voci. Janine and I had already become good friends outside of school so it was only natural for Nikki to be just as loving and a friendship started between all of us. We all met up in Disney. What child can say that their kindergarten and first grade teachers went out of their way to meet their student? my love for them only grew. Not long after Janine was diagnosed a friend of mine John was also diagnosed with esophageal cancer. Janine checked in on him constantly through me. Even though she was going through her own pain, she would pray for him and his family. Ironically they ended up meeting in chemo one time. They instantly bonded. John sadly lost his battle and here was Janine calling to see how she could help. My daughter Riley loved Mrs. Hee. In fact Janine was going in for brain surgery in a few days and Riley was getting her ear reconstructed. Here was Janine again calling to to check on Riley. Riley even received a gift that said, "You are one tough cookie" from her. If me and my girls can be even a tiny fraction of how tough Janine was then we will be ok. Brian, Janine spoke of you with such love and admiration. She always said, "he is my prince." My heart is broken for you and Brendan and Genevieve, but look for the signs. She will send them. May God bless you all and I will continue to pray for your strength. I love you Janine. You were my friend and always will be. My life will never be the same, but it is better because you were in it.

I always remember Janine with her infectious smile and laugh and her amazing ability to always be positive under any circumstances. She was really an inspiration to anyone she met! She was a beautiful angel on earth and now a real angel in heaven. Rest in peace sweet mother, wife, daughter, sister and friend.

I remember when I first met Janine, Brendan was in Kindergarten with Grace, and Genevieve was just a little peanut. We were outside for a school event and I remember being struck by her beauty. She had a radiant smile and seemed so happy being a mom. It was a short time later that I realized how beautiful she was not only on the outside, but on the inside. She is such a great model to follow and she will be greatly missed. She really did leave this world a better place with the many lives she’s touched. Rest In Peace, Janine.

Mrs. Hee was such a sweet soul. She was the kindergarten teacher for both of my children, and loved them like her own. Her smile was endless, and she was always giggling. After watching her memorial, it was apparent she loved her family and enjoyed making memories. I am so glad she captured the moments. May God provide you comfort for your soul during these difficult days ahead. And may your children always know how much their mother loved and adored them.

So sad to hear this news. Janine was a great person, always positive, gave all that she could to others, great teacher, best mom to Brendan and Genevieve, very loving and caring, funny, a fighter that stayed positive. You lived every day like it was your last, you were a fighter from day one, you lit up every room you entered with positive energy every single time. Your treatment days were always a party, chatting about your next vacation or the next event you were planning. You are already missed more than words can describe. My heart is broken ?. God gained a true angel ? Janine Rullo Hee from highschool days to running into you later in life you always had a smile on your face. You did it all for your family, your friends, you never stopped. Yours and Brian’s love was something that doesn’t come often and was an inspiration to all. We know you will look down on them and keep them safe. You are someone to aspire to be. In highschool your smile was infectious and it continued through to the end. I will never forget running into you when we were both getting blood drawn. We chatted and laughed while we waited and caught up. You never said why you were there but we both knew and never said. I reached out to you a bit later when you announced that you were pregnant with Genevieve. I was so happy for you! Not that long ago I helped you get ready for a wedding, you smiled your radiant smile and offered words of wisdom for my life. I will never forget the advice you gave to me. I’m sure you were hurting trying to eat little things while getting ready but you smiled and said it’s not that bad and you just kept on going navigating the whole day. You were definitely a warrior. You are loved and will be missed by all. ?

Janine was my sons second grade teacher when she was at Oak Valley. He and I went to her and Brian’s beautiful wedding, which she wanted to share with all her students. Janine was a ray of light and sunshine, which enveloped everyone around her. I am unbelievably shocked and saddened at this news. The world was truly a more beautiful place for her being in it. We cannot ease your pain but know that we loved her too. She will be sorely missed.

Wow I can’t even explain how we all became a family from St.Michael’s but we did! All the moms getting together and the husbands have “guys night” It made us even closer! I will miss all your positivity!!! You have been one of the most amazing people I have ever met in my life! So sweet, so positive, such an amazing mother! I remember when you got from the pizza place- a pizza shaped into a heart for Valentine’s Day for your family! I was like omg- I have to step up my game as a mother. Lol! I’m sad you are gone but your presence on this earth was so strong that I know for sure you are looking down on your family right now comforting them! I will miss you and I love you and will wait till we see each other again in heaven! I will do something wrong there and you will laugh at me!! You are amazing!!!

Janine was a Amazing woman and will be greatly missed. She was our daughter's kindergarten teacher who made every kid and parent feel loved . Her smile would lit up any room. Her fb posts showed she was a amazing wife, mother, daughter and teacher. Her family and students were her world. Only a few teachers make a impact like she did to so many. A perfect Angel she is now. I know that her family will be just as strong as her in this hard time and know she is surrounding them with love. So sorry for the loss.

I knew Janine from St Michael’s. Her son Brendan & my son Raymond were classmates. Fun and educational activities were always planned whenever “The Crew” boys got together at their house. Janine was the sweetest, most positive person. She was so full of life & a huge love for her family. She will be missed. God has gained a very special angel♥️

I have tried for 2 days now to come up with the words to describe my friend Janine and they only word that keeps coming back to me is perfect ...perfect mother perfect wife... perfect friend ...she was a person who lived her life with such A positive outlook nothing could get her down.... at least she would never show that to us.... In the 2 years that she fought this horrible disease her smile never left her face... her positive attitude never left her... and her love for God was always there... I met Jeanine 6 years ago when Brendan was in 2nd grade... she would pick him up in after care and we would talk a little and when she left I would be left with a smile on my face because she Was such a inspirational person.... a few years later she brought her beautiful daughter Genevieve to pre K3 where I was and aid and we became closer... She was still teaching kindergarten and I would sneak her videos of Genevieve singing dancing and napping and she appreciated them so much... these last 3 months I have been an 8th grade aid... I had the privilege of being in the classroom with her son Brendan ....both her children are True reflections of both Janine and Brian... I have many text messages from her and some voicemails that I will forever keep and read and listen to... Brian I pray for you and your beautiful family I pray that Janine soars with the angels and watches over all of you I will miss her dearly....

Janine was a wonderful daughter, sister, wife, mother, teacher, and friend. Whenever I had a patient from Pine Acres school, I would ask them if they knew Mrs. Hee. Every single time their eyes would light up at the sound of her name. Janine was a very special person, she was loved by all. I will miss you so very much. ???

Brian, Brenden and Genevieve words can not express how sorry I am to hear of Janine’s passing. She was the epitome of class and elegance. As a fellow Kindergarten teacher we would exchange stories about students, parents and the comments the kids would make and get a good laugh from these. I also enjoyed talking about Disney with her when I would see her at St. Michael’s I’ve never met anyone who was so happy all the time. Her smile always lit up the room and her sparkling personality outshined the brightest stars in the sky. These lovely qualities carried over to her two beautiful children, Brenden and Genevieve. I always remember seeing Brenden in class with a book in his hand. His thirst for knowledge was so typical of a teacher’s child. Genevieve was very bright as well, and like her mom always had a smile on her face and never complained. They were both joys to have as students. My prayers are with you all during this very difficult time. May God provide the strength you need to carry on Janine’s beautiful legacy. Heaven gained the most precious angel.

I hold the three of you in my heart, Brian, Brendan, and Genevieve. Your wife/mom was a special lady who loved her family dearly! It was fun watching the family enjoy your life adventures - Janine’s smile and kindness was infectious. Her zest for life and her faith in God during good times and challenges will always be remembered and inspirational for me in the years ahead. On my last text to Janine I said Brian us lucky to have you Janine — her response immediately was “and I’m lucky to have him.” Brian, you have been stellar - showing your love and care for Janine especially during difficult times. The witness of your love for Janine and Janine’s love for you spilled over into your love for Genevieve and Brendan. That love continues as she blesses you as an Angel on your shoulder. My beautiful friend Janine radiated hope and positivity to all who met her!! Her love and faith in the Lord was beautiful and admirable! Janine and I would text often throughout her sickness and I always asked her what I could do to help her….she would say , “Pray ….pray for me, pray for my kiddos continue to do well, and pray that my hubby continues having amazing everything for all he does for us!” She loved her husband and kids so much ! She was proud of her kids accomplishments and proud of Brian for being a wonderful husband and stepping up when she needed him most! Even though Janine was sick herself, she took time out to make and send me a remembrance pillow for my kids and I when my dad had passed. When I told Janine of my desire to write in the book “Women Who Empower” she was like “OMG that’s awesome ,I can’t wait to read it!” I told Janine she needed to write a chapter in it because she is the most positive, amazing, bravest, strongest woman I have ever known…Janine laughed and said :”what??? no”. She was such a humble person. Unfortunately, Janine never got to read my story, but I know if she was well she would be one of the first people purchasing it on Amazon…because that’s the kind of supportive friend she was! One of my last texts to Janine was “You got this!! You are such a strong and beautiful person .” Janine’s response back was “Thank You, right back atcha!!!”. Even in her darkest times she was still providing positivity and kindness back to others. Janine although you never wrote a chapter in my book your story will live in all of our hearts and minds forever and your courage, strength, and beauty will never be forgotten. Brendan and Genevieve know that your mom was your angel on earth and she will continue to be your angel in heaven. She will be making sure you are safe and happy! Look for the signs she sends you and know she is always with you and will ALWAYS love you! Heaven has definitely gained a special angel now!

Simply put, Janine was an inspiration. We were high school classmates, but more so she was a friend whom I got to know better later in life. I am thankful for Facebook and her love of travel for allowing me to know her better. She was a truly kind and incredible person. There was no fake, no pretense, just all good. She fought hard for the last few years, but her positivity never wavered. I've spent a lot of time lately looking at photos, her posts, and messages we have exchanged. Her replies were always positive and upbeat. She thanked God, praised her family and doctors, and always looked on the bright side. I know she has her Angle wings . She was alway kind and so sweet to all she met . She was always full of sunshine. You would never know she was sick . She was a great mother . With all the crazyness going on the first thought was the kids were lucky to have a great teacher in their Mom. She will missed by all who met her. I was Janine’s student teacher a few years ago and she was such a blessing in my life. Janine always radiated positivity, happiness, and was such an encouraging light to all those who knew her. She was such a loving teacher and friend and will be greatly missed. I am fervently praying for your family through this heart breaking time.

My mom worked at St. Michaels as a teachers aid where she met the Janine and the Hees. I remember her coming home from work many days going on about what a genuinely nice family they were and how bright, kind and respectful Brendan and Genevieve were. I had the pleasure of meeting them through work at Scotland Run when I worked as a hostess. It always brightened my dad to see the Hee family. Janine was always so kind as was the rest of the family. Being Facebook friends, I always kept up with her posts and was inspired by her strength and faith. Sending love and prayers to the family during this incredibly difficult time.

Janine, you will always be remembered as a “Rock Star”, a “Warrior”, so strong and full of life. No doubt your strength has helped so many push through their own obstacles the last couple of years. I will miss our chats and your positive light. Many prayers and lots of love for your family. ?

Janine and I went to high school together and always ran into each other in Target. She helped me when I was navigating treatment for my dad this year before he passed. Heaven has a perfect angel now.

Brian, you and the kids are in my thoughts constantly. I cant imagine the pain you are suffering but Janine will help you. Her faith was so strong and her love for you & her children radiated in her life. I see her dancing at Megan's wedding and she never showed how sick she was. That smile of hers made everyone smile. I am so sorry for your loss Brian, Brendan and Genevieve. Janine was truly one of a kind. She loved you all so much and everyone who knew her, knew her family was her first priority. She was a warrior through this whole ordeal. From diagnosis to each new procedure or treatment; she was so positive and had unshakable faith. I have never seen anyone with as much grace, humor, and determination as Janine possessed. She is a hero to me and I will never forget her. While our days here on Earth are a little darker from her passing, I’m holding on to the light she radiated when she smiled and the memories of the great conversations we had to help ease the pain. Always know she is watching over you. She is with you always in the memories you keep in your heart.

Brian and Family, My heart is broken for your incredible loss. Janine has inspired so many with her incredible bravery and grace as she fought so courageously. I will always picture Janine with a smile on her face. I have a message from Janine when Kim was in the hospital after her accident, she was asking me for her contact information. I had posted it on Facebook, and Janine sent me a private message saying the info I had posted was for a drug and alcohol rehab , not a physical rehabilitation center ? Janine was concerned because she didn’t want people getting the wrong idea! I will also remember Janine’s kindness as an upperclassmen , when she would sit with me during a free when I was a freshman and didn’t know anyone . She was an amazing person and will no doubt be your angel in this world. Peace and love to your family as you will always be in our prayers.

Janine was the type that after you talked to her... you felt like a better person. Although she was in the fight for her life, she wanted to know about yours. It’s a true gift to be in the presence of someone so genuine. If she made me, an acquaintance feel treasured, I can only imagine the way her close friends and family felt when they were around her. That spirit is what I want to try to remember when I encounter my own battles.

So incredibly sad to hear this news. Janine was a beautiful person inside and out and def a true warrior! Sending my sincere sympathy to all of you and your family.

Brian and family, there are just no words... and I can’t even begin to express how truly sorry I am for your loss. Janine takes me back to my high school years, some of the best memories with cheerleading and homecoming! After college I moved away, yet still my family would run into her often, and she always would say hi to them with a smile. Through Facebook, we reconnected like most people do, and what I remember most, was how her posts were always positive, even in the darkest days. I work in cancer, so I know it’s not easy to always hide behind a smile through surgeries and treatments, yet somehow she did that. Trust me when I say, she fought such an amazingly hard battle, way beyond what most people with her diagnosis could have ever done!! She showed her fight and determination with a smile up until the end, and that to me speaks more words than ever about the kind of person she was. My heart breaks that this happened at such a young age. Your beautiful children will help you stay strong and get through this... God bless you and your family through this tough time.

She has been in the forefront of my mind these past few days, as well as you and your family. Every picture and every post along her 2 1/2 year journey inspired me to live every day to the fullest and never take for granted anything. Janine was the sweetest and always had such a positive outlook that we will never forget. Our favorite Janine memory was when we were visiting Brian & Janine in Virginia. We spent the night and woke the next day to find our car had been towed. Well Janine called the building manager and lit him up. We had never heard her like that and we collapsed. We were laughing so hard that all the stress went away. She was always taking care of those she loved. We are all better for having known you. ❤️

Who would have thought two little girls sitting in home room together Freshman year at Paul VI would have lead us to not only figuring out we were cousins, but would lead us to an adventure of a lifelong friendship. Janine was a beautiful soul with a lot of fire in her that kept her fighting this terrible disease until the end. She was an amazing wife, mother, daughter, good friend, and teacher to anyone who entered her life. I am so blessed that I had a beautiful friendship with her and will cherish all the memories. “Life has (so incredibly and painfully) changed...but not ended...” are some of the words the Church uses to console a grieving family. Janine’s faith was rock solid and her guiding force throughout her entire life. Brian, God brought the two of you together and because of your deep love you and Janine shared, two of the most wonderful kids are changing the world-already-for all those around them. “LOVE “ is a verb in the Hee dictionary. It’s alive and active, it flows out and touches everyone who comes near it ...and the receiver is never the same. Of its very nature, “Hee Love” is dynamic, ongoing, constant... incapable of being quenched or snuffed out. In one of the many photographic memories you possess, Brian is giving Janine one of his fantastic bear hugs. Brian, Brendan, and Genevieve, God has now opened His arms wide and embraces Janine with and for you...until that day when the circle of life ...and love will be complete once again. “Life has changed but not ended...”

I really have no words, on this day it seems like an almost impossible thought that my beautiful little cousin is gone.. we didn’t speak much but when we did She always had such a beautiful spark, always an extraordinary positive outlook even with this shitty cancer and pain she smiled shrugged and stayed insanely positive, her faith never wavered I mean who has that light day in and out and doesn’t get a reprieve?! You, the kids, Aunt Donna, Uncle Joe and other family have an impossible hole to fill add that to how horrible she couldn’t even get through one last Christmas.. in itself I prayed for that it is beyond heartbreaking for the kids sake whom I pray for strength to cope.. I’m so sorry all this happened. She was robbed of the many years she should have been here continuing.. well continuing to be the shining light that was Janine.. I can only hope that God saw her suffering and took his Angel home and so her pain has ended.. I’m so very very sorry for your loss..??

Beautiful friend❤ I first met Janine when she was my daughters kindergarten teacher. Such a zest for life. Kind and caring. Always a smile on her face. We later became coworkers..and friends. We were also birthday twins. She faced her diagnosis head on with such positivity and courage. I had always admired her , but her strength and faith made me realize what a true angel on earth she really was. I cannot imagine a world without her in it. Brian, Brendan, Genevieve and family, I am so very sorry for your loss. I pray that you find comfort. I pray that those beautiful memories never fade and that they always outweigh the sadness you feel. That is what she would have wanted. I treat every patient like family.... but, every now & then, a few of them actually begin to FEEL like family. That was Janine ❤️ She treated me like an old friend, from the day I met her. She was an amazing woman, so full of love & life. She never complained. Ever! And she was as beautiful on the inside as she was on the outside. Janine, it still doesn't seem real that you're gone. Over these past two and a half years you have absolutely amazed me with your strength and positivity. The way you approached your diagnosis and battle was inspiring. I don't know if many of us would be able to do it. Heaven gained an angel this morning. Janine was called home after a fierce battle with cancer. She was a woman filled with positivity, grace and love. She loved her high school sweetheart with everything she had and was the type of mother that everyone should try to emulate. Always patient and prepared for everything. I will miss her always saying hey crazy lady tell me about your newest adventure. Always a person to lend a listening ear or jewelry and a purse to her disheveled friend. She left an impression on my heart that I will try to remember the lessons she taught me. The most prominent being it is easier to be positive because negativity takes too much energy. When someone that you love becomes a memory, that memory will then become a treasure. I will treasure the time that I was blessed to spend with her. Mrs. Hee, you were our first face from Pine Acres to welcome us into our new journey. You set a tone that was welcoming, loving and safe. You guided Danyka through that year with ease. I was forever grateful for all that you poured into her education and well being. Over the years I had the privilege to get to know you outside of the teacher parent relationship. I was extremely blessed to work side-by-side with Janine during my student teaching in 2015. She made teaching Kindergarten look like a walk in the park!! I met Janine when she started teaching at Maury. She was a newlywed and absolutely over the moon happy! In all the years I was lucky enough to work with her, she was always sharing that happiness with everyone she encountered. Her treasured family is in my prayers.
