Jacquelyn Regalbuto, (nee Jattros) on April 3, 2021 of Washington Township Age 70 passed away from heart disease at home surrounded by her family, Beloved wife of the late Nazareno, Devoted mother of Lisa Santelli-Parr (John) James Regalbuto (Lynn), Loving grandmother of William III, Nazareno, Victoria, John, Matthew, Anthony and Nicholas. Dear sister of MaryAnn Catalina, Elizabeth Lipstein and the late Margaret (Peggy) Tamburro.
She was born in Wilmington, Delaware; raised in Vineland New Jersey where she was crowned Miss Vineland 1968. Shortly after she married her high school sweetheart Naz and they moved to Washington Township to raise their family.
Jackie enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren especially cooking for the holidays. She loved spending her days at the pool in the summer, playing cards with her girlfriends, crocheting blankets and scarves which she donated to her church. Her most favorite thing to do, was dancing to the oldies on Thursday nights at Adelphias.
For over 30 years, Jackie enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her family. She also worked alongside her husband in the office of their business, Regalbuto Plumbing. Most recently she worked for the Washington Township School District in the cafeteria as a lunch lady.
Jackie was loved by all who knew her, If you needed her, she was there. Jackie was well known for her love of leopard print. She was definitely a spitfire. She will be missed terribly.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 7:00-9:00 PM at the Egizi Funeral, 119 Ganttown Rd., Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial Friday 10:00 AM at Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish/Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Glassboro. Interment, Hillcrest Memorial Park, Washington Twp.

I was Jackie’s neighbor for the last nine years. She was right across from me. We would often talk outside where she had her little setup. She loved sitting out there chatting on the phone. Whenever my sons were around (both in their 20’s) they loved talking with her. She definitely was a spitfire! I loved her dearly. I’m so sorry to hear of her passing. I just found out from another neighbor. She was a wonderful lady and I miss her already. I don’t think I could find another neighbor like her! My condolences to her family. She spoke of all of you often!

I worked with Jackie in the high school cafeteria..... I would always go to the back and say hi....she would be there with a huge smile and tell hey how’s it going??? We are living the dream right??? I always replied you got that right!!! We are living it up????always a smile and a heart of gold!!!! I know those angels up there are living the dream now...........they get to see you and that big ol smile everyday saying.......what are we doing tonight?? So incredibly sad to lose such a beautiful soul. She was loved by so many & made friends with everyone she met. She was my best friend for over 45yrs. It breaks my heart but I knew she had to go. Heaven is very lucky to have her as one of their angels. There are sooo many special & fun times I shared with Jackie……too numerous to mention. I will miss her dearly. RIP in peace my sweet friend??

It's with devastating sadness that I have to tell such a loving family my heart breaks for them and how much my own heart hurts. We know all of the family sacrifices that were made to ensure the best possible for Jackie. I once read: ‘just when the caterpillar thought it was the end...she grew wings to fly’ ? Should it help (even if just a little) she is at comfort now in Heaven with her Naz as she long-awaited.
Jackie impacted the lives of all who knew her with friendship and fun. We laughed EVERY day we hung out. I think the Poker girls got keen that 7 out of 10 times she was bluffing with “I’m all in”. How about making up card games (1-Card Sorry) or calling too many wild cards that no one could keep track of (the 4 of clubs with the writing on it, the phone number to the pizza place). Favorite memories of course include our pool days tanning all day long with baby oil; 100 degrees and finally getting her in on a float; dancing the 85, 86, 97; and of course all of our serious heart-to-heart talks. I could write a book on how lucky I am to have shared in her life. Instead, here are a few phrases that illustrate our BFF friendship:
• This is by far your worst idea ever…I’ll be there in 10 minutes!
• We’ve been friends so long I can’t remember which one of us is the bad influence.
• It's mischief night-let's go TP some doors - woot woot!
• You're killin' me, Smalls.
• A good friend helps you move, but a best friend helps you move and hide the body.
So many special memories, *whew* how I will miss my Jax, but she will forever be in my heart! With Love & Admiration ~Carm
