Ilene Burns

(nee Himovitz) On December 8, 2020, of Sicklerville.  Age 71.  Devoted mother of Nicole Lomonaco and Anthony Lomonaco and his wife Tara.  Loving grandmother of Michael, Angelea, Anthony, Jr., and Nicholas.  Proud great-grandmother of Michael, Jr.  Also survived by Louis Piatetsky.

On Tuesday we lost our mother, one of the most loving, beautiful  and colorful women in the world.  Our mother was the best mother and without any doubt very unconventional in her ways. She loved her family and friends very much.  Anyone that knew her, knew how she enjoyed shopping, dining out and socializing with her family and friends. Never a day went by without her off the wall humor and quick wit. She always put everyone before herself and made sure no one ever went without and she expected nothing in return. No matter how difficult  we were growing up or how crazy our children drove her she always had unconditional love for everyone.  Mom was the glue that held our family together. She will be missed dearly and never forgotten until the end of time.

Family and friends are invited to attend her visitation Sunday 11:00 AM-12:30 PM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown, Rd. Washington Twp.  Funeral service 12:30 PM.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Ilene’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38501.
