I am sorry to hear of Helen' passing. I remember her as a wise woman, who was always voluteering her time for one cuase or another - sometimes several causes at once. We shred alot of time together during a Bible class, and I was fascinated with her faith. My prayers are witht Helen and her family. May God Bless you all.

Delores, we remember Helen telling us about that man at Lakeland and the candies. Helen would tell us that even though he had no teeth he "would go the town" on those candies and that he really enjoyed them. Thanks for reminding us of this great memory and for your very kind words. John Misci, Jr. and Family

I knew Helen through her volunteer work at Lakeland , in the Nursing Home. She was compassionate and always made time for everyone. I temember an elderly gentlemen who had no family, no visitors, never. So, Helen " adopted" him - she would visit and bring hin this certain candy he loved. His eyes always light up when he saw Helen. What an example she set for me to live by.

Deacon Chandler - Thank you so very much for your very kind and generous words. Helen had a strong, strong faith - one that was admired by many, including me. I thought that me being her son, i was the only one who considered her " a living saint" - - ( Most every son has a special fondness for his "Mom" and I am no exception ). For YOU to say this is very special and powerful and bolsters our belief in God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit; it also strongly validates and gives deeper meaning to Mom's deep dedication, faith and spiritual devotion. Both Mom and Dad always spoke very highly of you and I know that they were proud and honored to know you. Deacon, again, thank you so very much. John Misci, Jr. And Family

Dear John and Family: I was so sadden to hear about your Mom.Helen was a special person to anyone who knew her. Always with a smile on her face when I would see her after mass and always asking for our son John who was a cub scout in her den many years ago. John always said , Mom was the best teacher he ever had. God went walking in His garden and saw a beautiful flower that He took home with Him. May she be at peace with dad.
