Giuseppe “Pino” Lubrano
On April 26, 2023, of Egg Harbor Twp. Age 83. Beloved husband of Susan (McKaig). Devoted father of Michelle Lubrano-Harbora (Thomas), Ashley Hendry (James Thompson), Andrew Hendry (Sarah), and Giuliana Lubrano. Loving grandfather of Henry, Jack Emilia, Olivia, and Andrew, Jr. Dear brother of Anna Digenua (the late Giuseppe), Mario Lubrano (Tina), Antonio Lubrano (Susan Carroll), Tilde D’Agostino (the late Pasquale), and Patrizia Angello (Sam). Loved by many nieces and nephews.
Born February 27, 1940, in Palermo, Sicily, son of Alfredo and Maria Lubrano. Giuseppe (Pino) enlisted in the Italian Navy in 1960. His military service was followed by a lifetime career as a chef and restauranteer. In 1970, he immigrated to the United States becoming a U.S. citizen and opened Giuseppe’s Restaurant, which he proudly owned for 32 years. He then retired from the restaurant and pursued employment with South Jersey Transportation Authority. Throughout the years Pino made many long-lasting friendships. He was a soccer enthusiast and a lifelong fan of Roma. He also had a passion for football, loved the Dallas Cowboys, and watching them with his family and friends.
Family and friends are invited to attend his viewing Tuesday 8:15 – 10:15 am at Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am Mary, Mother of Mercy Parish – Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, Glassboro. Interment Park Lake Cemetery, Swedesboro.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Giuseppe’s memory may be made to the Lewy Body Dementia Association.
