I had the luck and joy of being born into the Buono family, and to have an Aunt such as Flory. Many many meals around gramdmoms table and having so much laughter and fun and joyous times together. I miss you, I love you and we'll meet again some day. Save me a place at the table. All my love, Gerrie P.S. I know my daddy Sam has been waiting to welcome you with all the others.

Dearest Aunt Flory, I once shared this with you. Now may it be a comfort to the whole family. In the Song of Songs, it says: “Bind me as a seal upon thine arm, As a seal upon thy heart; For love is strong as death, Mightier than the grave; The darts of love are darts of fire, Furious flames; Many waters cannot quench love, Nor floods devour it.” Know that our love for you will continue forever. And, may we know that you will continue to love us, and be with us forever. Dearest Ange, and Maria, Know that our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with you always. All our love, Joy Your Nicolina and Aarin Esler

We can't have the happiness of yesterdays without the pain of today. The cost of love, is that losing hurts so much. That is the deal in this life. I have loved my grandmother for so long. She was my friend, my mentor, and a light that shined on all of us. I will miss you forever.

lisa godfrey left a message on July 6, 2010:
July 06, 2010 Aunt Flory was loved by all of us. Her sense of humour, stories and the excitement that came along with her visits. She was my favorite aunt and godmother to my youngest son. I can still see her dressing Richard while he fussed at all of her fussing. August 15th will always hold special memories as we all journied from my mother's house in Margate to the Atlantic City beach to get blessed. The feast that followed was not unlike any of the dinners that were normal in our family household. Aunt Flory orchestrated, with my mother beside her while the younger of us managed to fit everyone around the kitchen table where empty jellie jars became glasses for wine. Stories were told by A. Flory and my mom, A. Chickie about Grandmom and Granpop Buono. I can't explain the laughter that filled those tables except that "A.Flory was visiting". She will be missed by her sisters and brothers, myself and my brothers, my children and even my grandchildren. We love you A. Flory. You will be terribly missed but never forgotten. Debbie Coates left a message on July 8, 2010:
Dear Angela and family, Spending time with Florence every day was so enjoyable. She was always fun, entertaining and never afraid to speak her mind. She loved talking about her past as a seamstress and her days at Columbus Inn. Her family was so important to her, talking about them often. She reminded me of my Grandmom Rose, as Italian as you can get. Whenever Florence told me she loved me or to be careful getting home, it made my job all the more wonderful. She was loving and caring. Her table mates at Active Day really enjoyed her company. I cannot tell you how much I will miss her. It saddens me that I won't ever see her again, but the joy and laughter she brought to my life will not be forgotten. It was my pleasure to have known her and I only wish that our time together had been longer. I send this message with sincere sympathy and a heavy heavy heart. My best to everyone. Debbie Coates, Program Manager,Active Day of Newark.
