Elizabeth L. Bartkovsky (nee Sperko),
On May 21, 2018, of Washington Twp. Age 82. Beloved wife of the late Albert J., Jr. Devoted mother of Lorraine Cluderay (Gary), Brenda Bartkovsky, and Carol Gambone (Edward). Loving grandmother of Matthew, Justin, Eddie and Elle. Dear sister of Grace Angeli and the late Maryann Belyski.
Elizabeth was a member of the Wedgewood Women’s Club, Holy Family Parish Shawl Ministry, Washington Twp. Parade Committee, Washington Twp. Democrat club member and also served as Committee woman. She was also a member of Women Mother’s Matter and the Red Hats Society. She served on the board for the Margaret Heggan Library. Elizabeth also served as the Mayor’s Assistant. Her favorite pastimes were Canasta with the Card Girls, trips to Atlantic City Casinos and New York City “She loved the Broadway Shows”, going to her vacation home in the Poconos, traveling, spending time and entertaining with family and friends and serving her community. Most of all Elizabeth loved Doting on her grandchildren and always willing to volunteer.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Thursday 7:00 – 9:00 PM and Friday 8:15 – 9:15 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Family, Washington Twp. Interment Manahath Cemetery, Glassboro.

Dear Family of Betty,
I was so sad to hear of Betty's passing. We worked together for the past few years, working the polls at election time.
Betty was such an exceptional woman. I looked forward to our talks and how we shared our faith and stories. Betty was a lady that I respected and looked up to. She was an inspiration in so many ways. We will miss her, but believe she is with her Lord and Savior.

I'm so very sorry for the passing of your dear loved one which many will miss greatly. But know, please that she is safe in God's memory awaiting for a resurrection to take place, when God's own Son, Jesus Christ will fulfill a future promise of His, he spoke in John 5:28,29 which we find him giving us that very same promise. But it doesn't stop there neither. You see, when she is brought back to life, she will be given the opportunity to live on a peaceful earth, with all of you and the proof of that ever happening is found in the Bible prophecy Book of Psalm 37:29 which says: The righteous will possess the earth and they will live forever on it. So one day many of you will be able to welcome her back into your arms to hold and cherish, forever and there will be no need to ever be afraid to say goodbye to her, because she will never die, she will be able to live with millions of us, forever....

Betty was an outstanding wife to her husband, Al and a
wonderful mother to Lorraine, Brenda and Carol. She was a
special grandmother who treasured her grandchildren, Mathew, Justin, Eddie and Elle. We have wonderful memories of family get togethers and traveling with Al and Betty.When Al was gone, we continued traveling
together with Betty.
Betty was gifted in finding ways to help people. Everything that she did was with her heart and soul. She lived the life of

We have shared many memories over the last 42 years: the weddings of our children; the births of our grandkids; the rolling of dice at the casino; the walks in the park; working on elections, parades, committees; vists to the Pocono house n sailing the Chesapeake Bay just to name a few. We have laughed and cried together. Shared the good and the bad times, always supporting each other. I will miss you dearly my friend but will hold these memories close to my heart. The loss of a beautiful, kind, loving and caring person is a loss that many will feel, as Betty Bartkovsky leaves us with her passing. However, our faith tells us that she is now at peace and free from the illness that took her life seemingly so quickly. Betty may have been taken from this time and place, but for those of us who have shared a long and loving friendship with her, we will remember her for as long as we are blessed to be here. As with all of us, we will meet again in another place and another time. Some 40 years ago we met and from that day forward, we shared so much together in serving the community along with many other dedicated residents, many of whom have also passed. Those years are memorable, never to be forgotten. Betty cared and gave of her talent, her commitment and herself, unselfesly. While other choose to take, Betty gave. Betty you will live in my thoughts and prayers until we meet again.
