Jim Planamente left a message on June 5, 2018:
I was so very sorry to hear of Bruce's ("Doc's") passing. I met Bruce in the early 1980s and, through the years, I got to know a man who was a great doctor, was extremely intelligent, as well as a kind and caring father and a person with a dry sense of humor. What I will always remember about Bruce is the kindness that he showed to me when I was going through a tough time without medical insurance after an automobile accident that left me permanently disabled. I awoke one morning with severe pain in my left foot. I called Bruce and he had me come over to his home that same day. He diagnosed me with a fracture in a bone under my foot. So, what did he do? He brought me a walking boot (that probably cost $300-$400) and charged me nothing. That was the type of man that he was - caring and loving. I sent he and his family a fruit basket but that was nothing compared to the services that he provided to me during that time. I send my deepest condolences to his wife, Marie, his children, Mindie, Renee, Erica and Jason and to his grandchildren.
