We will miss Uncle Dom so much. He was always so sweet and happy. I will never forget when he used to come over to our house and help my Dad with all the outside work in the summers when we were young. I feel blessed to have so many wonderful memories! Rest in peace Uncle Dom

My grand pop was known for his gentle and kind spirit. He was the epitome of a family man putting everyone else before himself. I will never forget the warm sound of his voice , or the way he would answer the phone never forgetting to ask one by one how everyone in my family was doing, and no one could ever forget the beautiful genuine love he gave my grand mom everyday for the last 65 years. I will miss his stories of the war and that big beautiful smile. He had such an easy, mellow way about him, never complained. When I was little and was assigned to write a paper on "my hero" it was always him. If I had to do it all over, it would still be him. He fought until the end and even with all his pain still worried about everyone else. Next to his great love for his family was his love for his food. At the end of his time here, he didn't get to indulge in this pleasure. So I am sure Uncle Al is whipping him up something delicious in Heaven. I know everyone has only nice things to say about people when they die, but this is truly how he lived his life. Everything about him was so good and pure. I am so lucky I had him in my life for this long but no time is ever enough with the ones we love. The world would be a better place if we had more men like you. I love you forever grandpop.
