Clifton “Cliff” Brian Maurer from Clarsksboro, NJ. Cliff was born at Chanute AFB in Illinois on December 14, 1951 to August and Ann Marie (nee Horoszko) Maurer. He and his family lived in many states across the US while his father, a preacher, spread the word of God. After graduating high school in Colorado, he obtained his Associate’s Degree from the University of Alaska. He then went on to work in a refinery on the North Slope of Alaska.
In his early 30s, Cliff made his way to Maui, Hawaii, a place he adored. He met his wife, Terri DiFelice, in 1998 and they were married in 2001. They lived in Hawaii for ten years before finally settling back in NJ to be close to their children and grandchildren.
Cliff is survived by his wife, Theresa. His children Christopher Boggs (Michele), Eddie Boggs (Katie) and Andrea Kappre; his grandchildren Sarah Bell (Josiah), Stephen Leone, Juliana Kappre, Kayla Boggs, Shane Boggs, and Brooklyn Boggs; his siblings Quentin Maurer (Jan), Cheryl Zahn (Udo) and Daniel Maurer (Robyn); his niece and nephew Jenna Levenson (Joseph Graziano) and Joseph Levenson and sisters-in-law, Lisa DiFelice-Fiorella (Mark) and Virginia Cianfrani (Joe).
An all around “good man”, Cliff was the first person to offer help to someone in need. In everything he did in this life, he did it with a smile on his face and love in his heart. He was patient, gentle and kind. His greatest joy came from spending time with his grandchildren. He will be deeply missed by all who had the honor of knowing him and his memory will forever remain in our hearts.
Please join us to say Aloha to Cliff on Monday 6:00 – 8:00 pm and Tuesday 10:15 – 11:30 am with a life celebration to start at 11:30 am. We invite you to wear your favorite Hawaiian attire.
