Christina Marie Mergen

On February 17, 2025, of Washington Twp.  Age 80.  Beloved wife of the late Dennis J. Mergen.  Devoted mother of Timothy (Linda), John, Christopher, Patrick, Jennifer, and Colleen Smith.  Loving grandmother of Heather, Terra, Michael, Christopher, Lucas, Julina, Nathan, Noah, Gabriel, and Matthew.  Cherished daughter of the late Joseph and Irene Tracy.  Dear sister of Joe Tracy (Cindy), John Tracy (Elizabeth) and Mary Ellen DiMento (Sal). Dear sister-in-law of John (Margaret), Joseph (Donna), Patty Catherine (Patrick), Susan Mergen and the late Michael and Mary.  Proud godmother of Victoria.  Loved by many nieces, nephews and friends.

Christina “Tina” Mergen was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend too many. She was a devoted mother to her six children which as we all know is a full time job. She enjoyed attending any and all extra curricular activities of her children, grand children, niece and even great nieces and nephews. As well as, a big Philadelphia sports teams’ fan. You could always count on hearing her TV loud and her cheers even louder. Some more things she enjoyed were: spending time with her children and grand children, playing the slots down at the casinos, reuniting with extended family on cruises and snuggling up with her Harleiquin books into all hours of the night. However, no matter where or what she was doing she would stop to dote over any and all of her babies. Smothering them with all of the love in the world.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 10:30 am – 12:30 pm at SS. Peter & Paul RC Church, 362 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp.  Mass of Christian Burial 12:45 pm.  Interment All Saints Cemetery, Newfield.
