Cheryl A. Dugan (nee King), on July 16, 2018, of Clayton. Age 55. Beloved wife of Lee J. Devoted mother of Nicole Dugan (Matthew), and Heather Martin. Loving grandmother of Paige and Jenna. Cherished daughter of Kenneth King and the late Joyce (nee Sundquist). Dear sister of Michael King, Daniel King, and the late Elizabeth Rogers. Also survived by a loving niece and nephews.
As a wife –she was such an exceptional lady. She loved so wholeheartedly, without hesitation and reservation. She is and will forever be the love of Lee’s life. Because of her, he knew perfection, adoration, companionship, true love and now, the devastation of grief. True to the lyrics of “their song”, everyday she loved Lee in her own special way, melting his heart each and every time she smiled, from the day they met, 34 years ago.
As a mother to both of her daughters, she was a mentor, an example, a teacher, a comfort, a place to turn for insight and wisdom, a friend, a role model, a light, and one in whom they trusted. She made them secure in her love and helped shaped them into the women they became.
As a grandmother, sister, daughter, friend and co-worker she radiated love, laughter, warmth, sincerity and joy. She was one of the most authentic, considerate, intelligent, witty, remarkable, strong, beautiful, funny, and brightest rays of sunshine that you could ever meet.
We will shed tears because she is gone, but smile because she lived so fully and loved so deeply.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation Friday 9:00 – 11:00 AM at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. At 11:00 AM there will be a time of sharing thoughts, memories, prayers and love offered by family and friends. Interment private.
