Charles G. Walker

December 22, 1946 - May 5, 2020

Charles G. Walker, on May 5, 2020, of Blackwood, NJ, formerly of South Philadelphia. Age 73. Beloved husband of June Carol (nee Jaconelli). Devoted father of Craig Anthony (Sheryl) and Eric Steven. Loving grandfather of Eric, Jr., Brittani, Anthony, and Nicholas. Great-grandfather of Jaxson David Harding.

Dear son of the late Joseph and Anna Walker. He is survived by his brothers David (Maryann), Joe and his sisters Patricia Bruno and Nancy.

Charles served in the United States Army from 1965-1967. He spent 13 months in Vietnam with the 1st Calvary Division and then the 82nd Airborne Division. He was also a Purple Heart recipient.

He is survived by many nieces and nephews who he loved with all his heart, one of which he had a special bond – Krista Leigh.

Charles’ life will be honored and remembered privately by his family due to the health crisis of Covid-19.

Charles’ life will be celebrated with family and friends at a later date.
