Carmine J. Rodia
(nee Palermo) On December 13, 2024, of Deptford. Age 90. Beloved wife of Carmen J. Devoted mother of Carmen J. Rodia, Jr. (Monica) and Christine Fieo (George). Loving grandmother of Theresa (Robert), Carmine, Nicholas, Carter and Cole. Proud great-grandmother of Robert, Jr. Dear sister of Salvatore Palermo and the late Virginia Antonucci and Frank Palermo.
Carmine was a beloved wife, mother, Mom-Mom and new great Mom-Mom to her first great grandchild. She was the matriarch of the Rodia family and brought the family together. She raised her children equipped with everything they needed and wanted, never letting them forget where they came from. Her family was the center of her world. She always made a place for her grandchildren to stay over for the weekend and provided them with their own vitamins, toy bins, clothes and a stocked her kitchen with all their favorite foods. Carmine was present for all their sports games, academic award ceremonies and a casual Tuesday afternoon lunch date. She was selfless in how she cared for her family and all she had done for them. She has created lasting memories that will last her family a lifetime and she has left an impression in our hearts of what it truly means to be a family.
Family and friends are invited to attend her viewing Friday 9:30-11:00 AM at the Church of the Holy Family, 226 Hurffville Road, Sewell, NJ 08080. Mass of Christian Burial 11:15 AM.
