My family had the honor of knowing Lew Brown through our long friendship with his daughter,Kathy and his son in law Jeff. Through Lew's generosity we were introduced to the unique culture of The Lower Sheriff Lodge. The great stories and outstanding camp food was only exceeded by the camaraderie of all involved. We will miss his wisdom and his mean Manhattans. First day of trout season will never be the same. The Patti's. Mitch, Chris, Marc, Rich and Max

Lew was a veteran of a very hard-luck B-24 bomb group in England in WW II, with my own dad and scores of others I have had the privilege to meet at reunions... here was a non-nonsense gentleman, with a keen memory and sense of history... so glad to have met him!
