Benedetto “Benny” Taormina

On September 26, 2021, of Williamstown.  Age 49.  Beloved husband of Gina (nee DiMauro).  Devoted father of Gianni Taormina, Ciara Marotta, Vincenzo Taormina, Angelia Marotta, and Aviana Taormina.  Cherished son of Rosalia Taormina and Antonio Barretta and the late Guiseppe Taormina. Dear brother of Josephine DiLorenzo (the late Pietro), Franca Taormina, Luigi Taormina, and Salvatore Barretta (Natalie).  Survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Benny came to the United States from his proud heritage of Sicily as a young boy and lived life to the fullest. He was a hard exterior man that always wore his hat with his favorite black outfit, drove his Mercedes while listening to his favorite rapper Biggie Smalls. However, under that exterior was a man that had a soft spot for his family and passion for making the best pizza around. He was a hard-working entrepreneur and always coming up with ways to provide for his family. Benny would set his mind on something and give it his all. Benny will be remembered as the pizza guy who always smelled good, dare devil and anyone who knows him, knows he had a green thumb. He will be missed by all.

Family and friends are invited to attend his visitation Monday 6:00 – 8:00 pm at the Egizi Funeral Home, 119 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp.  Funeral service 8:00 pm.
