Barbara Koch (nee Schoenhard) of Egg Harbor Twp. went to be with the Lord on January 25, 2020, after a lengthy battle with Parkinson’s Disease. Age 71. Beloved wife of John Koch. Devoted mother of Christy Adomaitis (Frank), John Koch (Jackie), and Joy Gross (Chris). Loving grandmother of Troy, Kyle, Chase, Alicia, Aiden, Jacob, Maddie, Mikayla, Lilyana. Dear sister of David Schoenhard (Colleen) and the late Cathy. Honored aunt of Chrissie and Julie Schoenhard. Beloved niece of Dorothy Reardon and many loved cousins. Cherished daughter of the late George and Carol (nee Armstrong) Schoenhard.
Barbara had many careers including elementary school teacher, registered nurse, and hospice chaplain. She had many hobbies including riding her motorcycle, camping, traveling, gardening, enjoying her dogs and playing the piano/ french horn. Most importantly she had a deep faith in the Lord, loved doing her devotions and was also an oblate of the St. Benedictine Order. She had a beautiful heart and always a listening ear for her family and friends.
Friends and family are invited to attend her visitation Friday 9:00 – 11:00 am at St. John’s United Methodist Church, 149 Ganttown Road, Washington Twp. Funeral Service 11:00 am. Interment 1st United Methodist Church Cemetery, Williamstown.
