Rest in peace my childhood friend. I fondly remember all the fun and crazy times we had at "the pool", swim team (Sea Lyons, CYO, and Minutemaids), and the unforgetable week we spent in Wildwood. Good memories. Our loss is heavens gain. Weeping may endure for a night, but joy comes in the morning. A lot of rejoicing going on in heaven.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

I got to know Arlene when I would visit Artie around...what? The 90's. Nice to know someone who worked at Pep Boys! I'd be invited for dinner & we bust on Artie. Always comical. She & Mom would always try to come to our blow-outs, at Christmas & in the summer. The last time I saw her was at my Retirement party this past June. I'm glad to know she and Mom had a good time, and I'll forever be grateful for her humor, good graces & humanity. I finally got to tell her "Thanks For Coming" at the service. I hope she heard me. Pretty sure she did.

To Art and the Alessi family and friends of Arlene: While we never had the privilege of meeting Arlene personally, we think we've gotten to know her through your many posts here, and through the love and dedication to her from our friend Art, especially during these last difficult weeks. Arlene It was 31 years ago that we met and i hired to work for pep boys we spent a better part of those years working together. You were also upbeat and happy willing to do what had to be done. I met Arlene back in the 70's when I joined the swim team. She was always so nice and welcoming...especially to the younger kids (like myself) and her sunny personality shone through with her bright smile! Arlene attracted many people to her as well as numerous life-long friends. I haven't seen Arlene in many years as I no longer live in NJ and was quite shocked to hear of her passing. Sometimes the body just gets tired and goes to rest as I'm sure Arlene is now doing..in peace with love and wonderful memories of all who were lucky enough to have known her!
