Angelina Marsella
(nee Corsaro) On March 24, 2018 of Washington Twp. Age 91. Beloved wife of the late Richard. Devoted mother of Anthony (Barbara), Matthew (the late Hope) and Richard Marsella (Patti). Loving grandmother of Frank, Cory, Jason, Ricky, Joseph, Casey, Daniel, Michael and the late Anthony. Proud great-grandmother of Angelina.
Angie Marsella also known as Reds was one tough lady but had a heart of gold.
Angie was the devoted wife of the late Richard. She is the last matriarch of the Corsaro and Marsella families. She was a special sister, sister-in -law, Aunt and friend to many.
She was a special mother to Tony, Matt and Ricky. She was a wonderful Mother-in-law to Barbara, Hope and Patti and loved all her grandchildren Anthony, Cory, Joey, Jason, Frankie, Casey, Ricky, Michael and Danny. She was so excited to finally have a granddaughter Casey and then be a Great Grandmother to Angelina.
Angie worked hard her entire life whether it be on the farm, Golden Crest Orchards at Sony records, at her brother Sam’s meat packing company or at her deli in Bellmawr she always gave it her all.
When her children were young she never missed any sporting event they were in. She was a good, caring, loving Mom.
When the grandkids were young she was always there to babysit and cooked every night of the week for her children’s families. She was a fantastic cook. She loved to bake Christmas cookies and made the best Strawberry Shortcake Birthday cakes. Her specialty was peach cobbler.
Every summer she enjoyed our weekend of cutting and canning tomatoes. She loved being with family .
Angie was a member of the Wedgwood Women’s Club for more than 40 years. She loved bowling, playing cards and taking trips with her girl friends.
In her last years she enjoyed going to the casino with her care giver and friend Ruby.
Angie will be remembered and missed by all that knew her. She was a very proud lady.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing Wednesday 9:00-10:45 am at Mary Mother of Mercy Parish/Our Lady of Lourdes RC Church, 500 Greentree Rd., Glassboro. Mass of Christian Burial 11:00 am. Interment, Hillcrest Memorial Park, Washington Twp.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Angelina’s memory may be made to the ALS Association, 321 Norristown Road, Suite 260 Ambler, PA 19002.
