Alexander E. Farkas, Jr., on December 16, 2011, of Atlantic City. Age 60.

Loving father of Alexander E., III, Jaime Scelso Andrew and Crystal Farkas. Devoted grandfather of Joseph, Zachary and Kaylee. Beloved son of Violet nee Jones and the late Alexander E., Sr. Dear brother of Theresa Wisner Stephen, Jack Farkas Jayne and Judith Lamborn. Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Alexander was a 1969 graduate of Collingswood High School. He was an electrician with the IBEW Local #351 in Folsom.

Relatives and friends are invited to visit with the family Thursday 6:00 – 7:30 pm at the EGIZI FUNERAL HOME, 119 Ganttown Rd., Turnersville, NJ. Memorial Service 7:30 pm. Interment private.

In lieu of flowers, donations in Alexander’s memory may be made to the American Cancer Society, 1851 Old Cuthbert Blvd., Cherry Hill, NJ 08034.

I'm very sorry for your loss...I knew Al for many years and he was a great man

I went to high school with Alex and although I haven't seen him since then, remember him as a very sweet and dear soul. My most heartfelt condolences to his entire extended family. He will be missed by all those whose lives he touched, and will live on in our fond thoughts of him.

Sorry for your loss to the Farkas family. Al was a big part of our life for many many years. REST IN PEACE

We have so many good memories of growing up with the Farkas family. We lived next door to each other on Lecato Avenue in Audubon and then when the Farkas family moved to Collingswood, we would visit on Christmas Day and have such a good time! Alex was such a special person and always so nice! He was like a younger brother to me and my sister Mary. There were so many good times shared in our back yards and then in Collingswood Grandmother Farkas' delicious cookies!. All four of the Farkas children were so special to my parents, Frank and Dolores Vandever and if they were here, they would be deeply saddened by Alex' passing. Mrs. Farkas, you and your family are in my thoughts and prayers.

Jamie sorry for your lost..I had a lot of fun times with your Dad and Sandy. He was a great guy.We had lots of laughs in Ocean city, our fun times at the pool,and dinners..God Bless you Al!
