Mr. and Mrs. Mack my heart breaks to hear of Joey's passing such a sweet and talented man you raised. I honestly think that he is still to this day one of the kindest and most genuine people that I have ever met. We talked a few times on Facebook this past year and he was still the same as I remember from the years passed . I know we had lost touch over 20yrs ago which by the way I apologize for that and for other reasons.(long overdue and perhaps not enough but please know that I mean it very sincerely) The reason I am writing this is because of what an impact your family had on my childhood memories. Some of my earliest memories are either riding my bike with Jeff all over places that we probably were told not to go. Or playing in your backyard pretty much any time of the year , summers in the "fort" or running through the woods behind your house in Eden Hollow. Summers for me meant swimming and going to all the awesome places to sell glow lights, which were not only a great way to make some money for a tween but always have some really great memories to go with it. Hearing of Joey passing made me think of all of those times and how much your family was a part of my childhood. I just wanted to let you know that the Mack Family is in my thoughts and prayers and if there is anything that I can do to help please let me know.

I'm so sad to hear about Joey's passing. He was such a deep soul, with such creativity. He was always surrounded by a fun-loving family, friends and music he loved. I'm praying for you all, Jim, Eileen, Jimmy, Jeff, Kathy, your girls and Jon. I have such good memories of the times I shared in your home. God bless. Heaven has gained an angel.
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

To the Mack family I am sorry for your loss of your dear son and brother. Joey will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him. The sting of death is sharp and painful, nothing can fully prepare us for it. So it is not surprising if we feel at a loss when it comes to coping with death. God’s promise at 1Corinthians 15:26 tells us the last enemy death is to be brought to nothing. I hope that the power of God’s words will help to ease your sorrow as you cherish your loving memories now and in the days to come.

So deeply sorry for your loss. I just saw Joe about 2 months ago in Woodbury for the first time in a long while. He saw me first and he came up to me with the biggest hello and how ya doing!!! We talked for a short while and then he was on his way. I'll always remember his big personality and he did love playing guitar. Our most sincere condolences, prayers and love to Mack family.
